The Discipline Challenge - Day 6

Day Six..

I have nothing to say, vid says it all :)

The Discipline Challenge - Day 5

Day Five!

Sorry it is long, and I didn't realise how low I sounded - hope you can hear.

I enjoyed today because it was a day of complete meditation; at work, on the bus, on the train, home, everywhere! I was constantly asking God to show me things and He really was, and the more I asked, the deeper I went to see why I do certain things, I began to analyse myself and was able to understand the practical side of achieving my goals.

And yeah I was pretty tired so I couldn't remember all of the rules, and I was kind of mumbling.. Apologies again!

The Discipline Challenge - Day 2

So here is Day 2..

I was still under the weather, but I got organised and went after all the things on my schedule! (It was my My Day)

I didn't get up at 6am,. Lol, but tomorrow will be a better day.

Today really showed me how much more I want God, it was a day of reflection, and I am so ready for more :)

The Discipline Challenge

I, Aneeka Kristiane has now decided to do the discipline challenge!

I saw this first on Mrs Francessca Lewis's blog (www.francesscalewis.wordpress.com) and it inspired me, as my spiritual life is an area that is the most important thing to me, so after coming back from the trip of a lifetime, I've decided to put my flesh on lock and invest more in my spirit.

I will be doing it for 3 weeks with a friend of mine, and will be making a video daily of my journey through this. I know its going to be hard, but I've got my eyes on what I want, which is to be closer to God.

I cannot wait to start sharing my experiences with you guys.

If you want, join us in this, trust me you won't regret it :)

See ya next with Day 1!

New Spirit

I read something earlier and it really allowed me to think..
Sometimes things don't happen for us, we try to do things, "make a way", etc and things still aren't in the way that we want. Why?

Our spirit determines a lot about the results of our lifes. Even with the power of God, if our spirit is lazy, things cannot happen!
We need to change our spirit in order to see what God promised. Even Paul, before he came to God had a spirit that called attention, he was there killing christians, he didn't care but when he came to God, he exchanged from using his spirit for wrong things and used it to gain souls for God. He was brave to do wrong, not caring of the concequences, he took risks and concequently when he found God, He was able to use his spirit to save people, with the Holy Spirit.

Imagine having the same spirit as Paul and the Holy Spirit? How can we fail? Its impossible!
Its change our spirit so God will be able to use us more on another scale, with no limitations but God stops when we stop, so lets not stop!

Self Discipline

How many times is it easier to take the option that is easier for you?
Many!
I learnt this the other day and wanted to share with you all..
Without even realising on a daily basis we need to make many choices, and the outcome will determine the result of our lives right?
So how to know when we are pleasing God or pleasing our flesh?
If what we do allows us to stay in our comfort zone, with no attempt of any real effort we find that we are pleasing our flesh. If we are constantly pleasing our flesh, we are not pleasing our spirit
When we do things that allow us to come out of our comfort zone and really push us, has somewhat form of sacrifice we know that we are not pleasing our flesh but we are pleasing God.
This however is not the case for all things!

There needs to be a balance, we should live with the right amount of both. Not constantly doing things that are hard for us so we don't ever relax and bring results to our body that could of been avoided, but at the same time to not allow our body and flesh dictate what we will do.

We need to be wise, and above all make sure that our choices are bringing forth a good profit.
